“I traveled the world and the seven seas. Everybody is looking for something.”
— Annie Lennox
On my life path I have always been looking for the authentic smile and the amazed eyes of others. The reason I love Yoga is that it puts you in touch with your authentic power and the wonder that is life. There is no greater miracle machine than our human body. I also love to play because I believe that play is the best means of learning new skills and possibilities.
I had my first Pranayama training when I was 13, with the Shiks in Amsterdam. From my spiritual master Osho, I learned several meditation techniques at his ashram in Pune, India. Hatha Yoga was part of the curriculum of the theater school in Utrecht where I graduated in 1990. I am a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, Pure Yoga Taipei 2007 and a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher, New York 2009.
