After more than 20 years of following my own yoga practice from all kinds of different styles and forms, in 2017 it felt like a natural step to do a yoga training. In this year I started the Yin training with Hellen van den Harten. In this way I have also started to embrace the softness of the practice more and share this in my lessons. In addition to the yin training, I then followed a mindfulness training. The combination of the stillness of yin and the power of the moment of mindfulness can be found as a common thread through my lessons.
Then in 2019 I started a Vinyasa training with David Lurey. Also in this form of yoga the power of the now and the mildness within the yang practice are reflected in my classes.
The balance between the different forms of yoga; the power of the yin and the yang and the connection between the two in combination with mindfulness is a daily practice for me.
