I invite you to go on a journey with me. A journey of exploration. A journey into the very essence of who you are. As we are opening our hearts to this moment and all that arises in it. Allowing ourselves to be as we are. Allowing this moment to be as it is. Taking the time to really see ourselves. And who knows what might be revealed to you… On this journey we are developing an attitude of being available to ourselves. Being with ourselves and practicing self-love and self-care. Returning to the nature of our being. Returning back home.

The class will be a blend of yinyoga postures, meditation and self-inquiry. We will stay in the postures for a longer duration of time. Giving the body the opportunity to relax the muscles and open up, stimulating the fascia in our body. And also inviting us to go deeper within ourselves. Deeper into this experience. May these classes be of assistance to you on your path and offer you a context for growth and healing to occur.
May these classes help you to remember that you are whole already. And that there's nothing that you have to be, other that you. Nowhere that you have to go, other than here, right now. Being your own, unique expression…

My own journey of exploration, of going within, started with attending a Zen meditation course. During that time I also discovered Satsang. This completely shifted my perspective and from then on I knew that there was a truth to be discovered. Who was I really? And there was no way back. I sat on my meditation pillow every day and read any book about non-dualism I could get my hands on. And meditation really felt like a mental shower to me. Like it was clearing the fog in my mind. Then, years later, I discovered the practice of yoga. And I completely fell in love with it. It was helping me to move through life with so much more ease and focus. Helping me to better take care of myself. Over the years I have done different styles of yoga including yin yoga, hatha, vinyasa and Iyengar yoga. Yin yoga has a special place in my heart. I love that it invites you to surrender to this moment and to be with yourself. I did my yin yoga teacher training at De Nieuwe Yoga School, studying with Johan Noorloos and Jose de Groot.

I now feel that it is time for me to share this with you. And see if the practice of yoga can also be of service to you, to your growth. And maybe transform your life, bringing more love, more balance, more ease into your life so you can Thrive, being and expressing who you truly are.

Two or five trial lessons of Yoga or Pilates

To give a good impression of Thrive Yoga, we offer you the choice to start with:

  • 2 trial lessons within 1 week (€ 17,-)
  • 5 trial lessons within 1 month (€35)

Lessons can be held in the studio, outdoor lessons as well as for livestream lessons being used! The perfect way to get acquainted with the different classes and teachers at Thrive. You can follow both Yoga and Pilates (of which a maximum of once Aerial). We advise you to try out different classes / teachers so that you can experience our varied offer. This introduction card offer is only available once if you have not taken classes with us before and only available if you live in Amsterdam (or neighboring municipalities).

You can take a separate trial lesson for Pregnancy Yoga for € 10,-. If you are already a Thrive member and have a ride card, you can also use it once for a trial lesson without additional payment.
