Hello, my name is Michal. I am a physiotherapist and a Pilates instructor living in Amsterdam oost. 
Pilates is one of my favourite tools to work with, as it can be easily translated many daily activities. Moreover, it raises body awareness, which is the key for curing most bodily complaints and can prevent injury. As a physiotherapist that gives pilates classes, I tend to correct and give extra attention for technique and posture. I give in thrive two different classes:
FysioPilates is an interesting class where you will explore Pilates exercises and postures from a therapeutic point of view. The exercises are introduced in a slow and safe buildup. We will learn how to combine basic movements with your core muscles to protect your back and avoid other compensatory mechanisms of the body. People with injuries are welcome to join after discussing their complaints shortly with the teacher before the class (in person or per email). The class fits pregnant women and is recommended as a post-natal class to begin with.  FysioPilates fits all levels! 
Pilates play, A new class , focuses less on basics and more on flow. It is a whole body pilates workout based with many yoga elements. Fits intermediate and advanced levels. You are welcome to come and Play!
