Born in Amsterdam, after high school I studied European Studies (Italian, Spanish, European Law, Art History) at the University of Amsterdam. I started working as a Communications/PR advisor and Press Officer for the Dutch Government and continued working at different ministeries and projects. My grandmother was a yoga teacher in Amsterdam and she inspired me to explore yoga. 15 years ago I started practising with Gösta and Alison from Svaha Yoga and found my way to yoga. Many inspiring teachers, like Alexandra Waters from Anahata Yoga crossed my path, and I really felt like coming home, diving into Jivamukti Yoga. It was everything I was and am looking for, not just focused on the physical asanas but so much more. In 2016 I decided it was time to pass the teachings on to others, and enrolled in the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training in India. After returning home I started teaching in Amsterdam to spread the light in my home town, such a pleasure! Forever grateful to my past, present and future teachers. Namaste!
